T.Y. Hilton is good player, great dad review
Recently I read an article written by Krista Ramsey. This article expressed how a good football player was also a great father. T.Y. Hilton, wide-reciever for the Indianapolis Colts, scored a 73-yard touchdown. Hilton before the game said he wanted to score a touchdown for his new baby daughter, and thats exactly what he did. After he scored he cradled the ball like he was holding his baby daughter. A touchdown dance that he certainly won't forget.

The best written line in her article is "Hilton had charmed fans after his third-quarter TD run by cradling the football and rocking it tenderly, a reference to Eugenia Emma Hilton – "G.G." – who was born Sunday morning, three weeks early". I believe this line impacts the reader because of diction used. It uses power words like "charmed" and "tenderly".
Ramsey writing style is a very powerful and meaningful way of writing. She gets her point across by using strong diction. Three questions i would want to ask the writer is;
How do you decide the word you want to use for a particular sentence?
How many times do you check over your writings?
Who do you base your writings after?
